SUNDAY WORSHIP:
9:45 AM SUNDAY SCHOOL 11:00 AM WORSHIP Avondale United Methodist Church is located on the corner of 40th Street and 5th Avenue South, across from the Avondale Library and Avondale Park, in Birmingham, Alabama.
Sunday Worship begins at 11:00 am and is a traditional liturgical service. Music includes congregational hymns from The United Methodist Hymnal and anthems presented by the choir with organ or piano accompaniment. The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.
